Kwikrez AcryliKote is an option for one of the first steps in the magnetic flooring or wall system installation process. This is a magnetically receptive coating, in essence a metal surface for the magnet to attract to after it is installed. Kwikrez AcryliKote is an acrylic based primer which can be used on new drywall as a primer, and it can also be used on existing painted walls. AcryliKote can also be rolled out on a floor to serve as a receptive base for magnetic flooring. Its ease of application makes it an ideal residential coating for the average DIYer, or really anyone who wants to pick up a paint roller and paint their walls and floors. However, its durability makes it a robust coating suitable in use for commercial applications.
